** Reminder, there is no school tomorrow, November 10**
This week we did many activities to learn and celebrate Veterans Day! We finger painted some flags, we made Veterans to hang in the hallway, we did red, white and blue addition in math, and all the kindergarten students made patriotic hearts to line the hallway! Here are some pictures of things we did!
Today we were lucky to have unplanned time with our Book Buddies! Here are some pictures of our book buddies reading to us!
Good things to practice at home:
**Counting to 20 (or higher) without leaving out any numbers -- teen numbers are typically the hardest!
**Practice writing numbers from 0-5 (or higher)
Ways to practice at home:
**Read the paper books that were sent home -- Remind students of pointer pup (pointing to each word as they read) and eagle eye (using the pictures to help with the words)
**Practice reading and writing the sight words sent home on bright pink paper
*****This Newsletter Blog will be updated at the end of each week! I will post pictures, bulleted points, and an explanation of exciting events from throughout the school week. The only pictures posted will be of the students whose parents indicate on the Media Disclosure Form that it is okay to publish their pictures online.
