I hope every one had a great spring break! We are in the last weeks of school - crazy how fast this year has gone by!
READING & WRITING
The kiddo are doing SO WELL with their nightly reading! I am noticing progress in everyone during guided reading time with me!
Please keep practicing reading & writing the first 25 sight words at home! These help a ton when reading!
We stated a new unit in math this week. This unit works a lot with teen numbers.
Tonight in your child's folder you will see a math paper involving shapes. This is a review paper and can only benefit your child mathematically!
Practicing addition and subtraction within 10 is also great practice!
I've heard from a handful of parents already, but if you are a parent that would like to attend the lobstering trip, JUNE 1 (rain date June 8) with us please email me! It may cost up to $10 for some parents.
Next week we will be starting a week and a half science unit on How Animals Depend on their Environment. If you have a change this weekend - talk to your child about some spring animals & how they might depend on their environment!
Have a great weekend!!
**Side note - I have some pictures to share but can't seem to get them from my phone to this website... I will work on it, though!
*****This Newsletter Blog will be updated at the end of each week! I will post pictures, bulleted points, and an explanation of exciting events from throughout the school week. The only pictures posted will be of the students whose parents indicate on the Media Disclosure Form that it is okay to publish their pictures online.
